I have worked in tech, developing software, for the last 25 years and am an avid DIYer with a large collection of skills and tools.

Plumbing

  • Replacing the flush mechanisms in toilets.
  • Flushing tankless water heaters.
  • Replacing showerheads, faucets, and water filters.
  • Installing or replacing pipe insulation on exterior pipes.
  • I am not a licensed plumber. List is limited.

Electrical/Electronic Services

  • Configuring devices like internet routers, smart bulbs, and media devices.
  • Hooking up TVs to home entertainment systems and soundbars.
  • Replacing light bulbs (at reasonable heights).
  • Replacing batteries in smoke detectors.

    Most established handyman want big jobs that take a long time so they can be somewhere for a few days and get a big check at the end. I am the opposite. I just want a few small jobs a week to supplement my income in our very expensive city.
